You can save the PDF files to your computer (Windows and MacOS apps and browsers, device support may be limited).
iPed Everywhere!™ has several reports that give you useful information for your animal data. They work very much like pedigrees, and the PDF of these reports are stored in your library.
iPed Everywhere!™ costs only $6.99 per month. All Pedigree Power Pack™ offerings are available at prices between $0.49 to $1.49 per month, per pack. There is no requirement to renew, and you can stop auto-renewals at any time.
iPed Everywhere!™ users get 100MB of free storage per month; all storage over 100MB is charged at $0.09 per month for each megabyte or part of a megabyte over 100. You get six free transfers of your .PTPED database to your Windows or MacOS** PC per month while your subscription is active (downloads do not roll over). Each additional one after that is $2.99. Uploading your PTPED database is presently free.

Q: How much extra are the Windows, Mac, iOS and Android apps?A: They will be free with iPed Everywhere! Simply go to the App Store or the Google Play Store and install the iPed™ Everywhere app! for PC apps, go to the Windows Store or the Mac App store.
Q: How long before we get Windows, Mac, iOS and Android apps?A: We are testing now. The Windows app is available now. The MacOS app is scheduled to be released to the App Store by March 31, 2021, but you can download the MacOS App direct from our site now. The iOS and Android apps should be in their respective App Stores by April 20, 2021. Until then the apps work beautifully on the web.
Q: Is this another “shared database” like the old Breeder’s Standard® .NET?A: No! You have your own private secure database that nobody except you can access.[1] The database is the identical .PTPED format that we use for the database files we create in our Windows programs.
Q: Why can I only sign up on the web?A: We have to do it that way. It is the only way to get you access from all platforms. The App stores all want us to either be a free addon or to bill you through their mechanisms. If you wanted to access from the web, your Windows PC, an iPad and an android phone, that would require paying four times. By doing it this way, we keep our fees much lower.
Q: Do you ever share any of my data?A: No! Your information is absolutely confidential and stored separately from other users’ databases.
Q: What is happening with The Breeder’s Standard .NET and The Cattery’s Standard .NET?A: They remain active product offerings.
Q: What is happening with iPed for Windows?A: It remains an active product offering and will be updated and upgraded for the foreseeable future. You can use iPed 7G and newer and iPed Everywhere! Together.
Q: What is happening with iPed for the Mac?A: iPed for the Mac is retired after eight years of service. iPed Mac customers who purchased the product on or after March 1, 2020 will receive a free one-year period to access the iPed Everywhere!™ product. As a thank-you, you will receive all 11 power packs (iPed Mac included only six) for free during the first year as well.
Q: Can I copy my animals and information from iPed 8G, iPed for the Mac, The Breeder’s Standard 2018-21 and The Cattery’s Standard 2019-21 to iPed Everywhere!™?A: Yes!
Q: Can I share BXF files of my data with friends?A: Yes, just as you can with all previous versions of iPed. iPed Everywhere!™ supports both importing and exporting BXF files.
Q: I have iPed 8G, Breeder’s Standard 2020 or newer, or Cattery’s Standard 2019 or newer. Can I use that database with iPed Everywhere!™A: Yes! You can access only the pedigree and animal information exposed in iPed, but you can upload the whole .ptped file to our server and bring it back down again with updates. Doing so also means that you have it backed up on our servers.
Q: What do you do to keep my data safe?A: We back up every customer’s database every day. We conduct daily backups to a separate cloud provider. Major operations in iPed Everywhere!™, such as database pack, automatically create a free backup copy to let you “fall back” in the event of a problem (that backup copy is not deleted until three days after your pack or rebuild). All of your data are encrypted at rest (on the hard drive). Data never leaves our network unless it is encrypted in transit. We have multiple anti-virus and anti-malware strategies in place. The iPed Everywhere!™ program servers are separate from the rest of our servers.
Q: I have iPed 5G / 6G / 7G / 8G – do I have to re-enter everything?A: No! You can upload your .PTPED database to iPed Everywhere!™ and have immediate access! iPed Everywhere!™ uses the same .PTPED database format that our Windows programs do.
Q: What if my computer crashes?A: Not a problem. Your program keeps on running and your data are safely backed up on our servers.
Q: What happens if you have a crash?A: We have a disaster recovery plan in place. Our encrypted daily backups of your database files are not only in a remote location, but on a different cloud provider. We also have “hot spare” servers running on a different cloud provider and can start them in minutes.
Q: Is iPed Everywhere™ up 24x7x365?A: We do have a window on Saturday nights from 8:00PM-10:00PM Central Time where we may be uploading updates. Otherwise, barring an emergency, yes.
Q: I'm at a friend's house and I want to pull up a pedigree and print it. Can I do this?A: Easily! Log in from any web browser and access My Library for Pedigrees you have stored, or MegaPed to generate a new one, and you can download and or print the pedigree right there.
Q: How hard is it to upgrade this program?A: Upgrades are automatic and behind the scenes. You don't have to do a thing.
Q: Does this program include help or a manual?A: Both. See the help at https://ipedeverywhere.com/help even before you buy!
Q: What about a free trial?A: We do not have a free trial, but we do have an introductory month at only $1.09 first month, with all chosen Pedigree power packs enabled and free for the first month. If you don’t like it, you can stop renewals and be billed nothing else.
Q: Do you have any long-term commitments? Do I have to buy for a certain amount of months?A: No! You can stop renewals at any time without cost or penalty of any kind.
Q: Is it a pain in the rear end to stop renewals?A: No! Sign in, go to My Account, and click “Turn off Renewals.” That is the entire process! It is instant. If you want to start renewals again, click “Turn on Renewals” before your account expires.
Q: Why do you charge for storage over 100 Megabytes and for more than six PTPED transfers?A: Because we have to pay our cloud providers for high-performance encrypted storage, encrypted backup storage and the cost of securely keeping a remote copy of our backups. We also have to pay for bandwidth to move your data to and from our cloud.
Q: What happens to my data if I stop renewals or my subscription expires?A: Stopping renewals does not delete anything while the subscription is active. If a subscription expires, we hold on to your database for 60 days, and then it is deleted and cannot be recovered. We will notify you every 10 days from expiration to data deletion.
Q: Are you going to have longer plans than a month-by-month, with a discount for ordering many months in advance?A: Yes! If you sign up for three month renewals you will save 20% off the monthly price for each month. Yearly renewals save 40% off the monthly price for each month. (You pay for the total cost at the first renewal after your one-month $1.09 trial).
Q: What about Pedcasso™ and NETigree®?A: If you have Pedcasso 2019 or newer or NETigree III 2019 or newer now, there is a way to support it using download and upload of your database. A special edition of NETigree® is presently being designed.
